About Scheme:
                    YSR Vahana Mitra is a welfare scheme launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. It is aimed at providing financial assistance to self-employed auto and taxi drivers to support their livelihoods and lessen economic burdens. Under the YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme, eligible self-employed auto and taxi drivers receive financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 (ten thousand rupees only) per annum. This assistance is provided tp help them meet their vehicle maintenance expenses and support their livelihoods. With the amount, the individual can cover the repair work, fitness of the auto-rikshaw, and additional expenses also. It is necessary to do registration to receive the benefit of the scheme.
  •    In this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 10,000/-  (ten thousand rupees only) per annum to self owned auto/taxi drivers for expenditure towards insurance, fitness certificate, repairs, and other equipment.
  • The payment will be made to the bank account of the beneficiary, through either bank transfer or Aadhar enabled Payment System (AePS).

Eligibility:
  • The applicant shall own and drive an auto rikshaw / taxi / maxi cab.
  • The scheme is applicable to the owners of passenger auto rikshaws / taxi / maxi cabs.
  • One family is eligible for one vehicle (auto or taxi or maxi cab) only. Family is defined as Husband, Wife, and minor children.
  • The vehicle shall be in the possession of the owner.
  • The bank account shall be in the  name of the owner of the vehicle. The bank account of the beneficiary can be in any of the scheduled commercial banks.
  • Applicant should not  be a beneficiary under any GoAP scheme for the occupational groups.
  • No one in the family should be a government employee.
  • No one in the family should be government pensioner.
  • No one the family should be tax payer.
  • Average power consumption should be less than 300 units.
  • Applicant land should not exceed 3 acaras of wet land or 10 acaras of dry land (combining of dry and wet land).
  • Municipal property should be less than 1000 sq.ft
  • SC / ST / BC / Minority community people are eligible.
Note: 
        The owners of three wheeler / four wheeler light goods vehicles are not eligible under this scheme.


Required Documents:
  • Aadhar card xerox.
  • Family members Aadhar card xerox.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Rice cars xerox.
  • Vehicle shall be covered with valid records like a registration certificate, tax etc.
  • Details of Aadhar linked Bank Account xerox.
  • Vehicle photo along with beneficiary.
  • Proof of Address / Residential Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate xerox.
  • Income Certificate xerox.
Application Mode:
            Application is offline mode.
            Beneficiary has to submit all required documents to grama / ward volunteer.

Application Process:
  1. Beneficiary has to submit all required documents to grama / ward volunteer.
  2. Welfare and education assistant / WWDS will receive documents and apply in "Ap Seva Portal" in his login.
  3. Welfare and education assistant / WWDS will do enquiry in field and submit field verification form in welfare and education assistant login / WWDS.
  4. After successful completion of field verification, application moves to MPDO / MC's.
  5. After successful verification in MPDO / MC's application moved for social audit (six step validation).
  6. After completion of social audit, eligible and ineligible list will be displayed WEA / WWDS logins.
  7. WEA /WWDS will display list in grama / ward sachivalayam.
  8. Amount will be released to beneficiary bank account through DBT (Direct Beneficiary Transfer).
