Benefits of Jagananna Chedodu Scheme:-

There are many benefits of the scheme, one is the availability of funds for the people who carry on small businesses and also for the people whose income is very small. Incentive will be provided to the three categories which are included under the scheme is Tailors, laundrymen and hairdressers. The incentives will then be used by the beneficiaries to carry on everyday procedures or to send their children to school as many of them are not able to afford the education of the children.

Financial assistance of 10,000- (ten thousand rupees only) to beneficiary.

Scheme Eligibility Criteria:-

1)The applicant must be permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.

2)An applicant must be tailor, hairdresser or laundryman.

3)The applicant must have registered with the social authorities of there profession.

4)Annual income of the applicant should be less than 1,44,000/- in urban area and 1,20,000/- in rural area.

5)No one in the family should be government employee.

6)No one in the family should be a tax payer.

7)Average power consumption should be less than 300 units.

8)Municipal area should be less than 1000 sq.ft

9)Applicant age in between 21 years to 60 years.

10)Applicant should own his business.

11)SC, ST, BC, EBC, Minority and differently abled categories are eligible.

Documents required to apply:-

1)Aadhaar Card

2)Pan Card

3)A Voter card for identification Purposes

4)Domical / Labor Certificate

5)Income Certificate

6)Caste Certificate

7)Bank Account with NPCI linked

8)Rice Card

Application Mode:

Applicant has to submit required documents to grama/ward volunteer.

Application Process:

Grama / ward volunteer will submit documents to WEA / WWDS.
WEA / WWDS will apply on "AP Seva" portal.
WEA / WWDS will conducts field verification for each applicant, and confirms whether the applicant is eligible or not.
If applicant is eligible WEA / WWDS will recommend to MPDO / MC.
MPDO / MC will check the documents and forwards the application.
Now the application will send for system validation (six step validation).
After completion of system validation eligible and ineligible lists will be sent to WEA / WWDS logins.
WEA / WWDS will display eligible and ineligible list in grama / ward sachivalayam.
Ineligible list will be displayed with proper reasons.
