Jaganna Ammavodi (2023-2024)

Jagananna AmmaVodi scheme was introduced and launched by Andhra Pradesh chief minister shri Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy garu in order to help all the poor people financially by depositing a sum of 15000/- (Fifteen thousand rupees) directly to children mother account for joining their child in schools and make them study.

Recently Jagananna Ammavodi scheme 2023-2024 academic year schedule has been released by the government. Students has to submit the data to the schools/colleges in order to get ammavodi scheme benefits.

Ammavodi Scheme Agenda:

Ammavodi scheme has launched in order to reduce the dropouts ratio in schools. Under this scheme RS. 15000 per annum is deposited into the bank account of mothers who send their children to school by direct beneficiary transfer (DBT) method. Through this scheme, poverty wont come in a way of education. Every women of the state will get the opportunity to educate their children.

In order to reduce the dropout rate, the schools are providing all kinds of facilities like special menus, uniforms, and books.
AP state government is giving top priority to education in order to achieve a total literacy rate.
Along with ammavodi scheme, CM also launched Nadu-Neidu scheme in order to improve the infrastructure in school.
Jagananna gorumudha scheme is another important initiative in order to provide nutritious food during lunch in government schools.
Through the implementation of these schemes, the literacy rate among the poorer and weaker section of society will increase.

Schedule for academic year (2023-2024):

School/Intermediate management will start receiving data from the students will be started from 17th April 2023.
After completion of receiving data from the schools government will give a chance to rectify the problem if any.
This corrections process will start from 16th May 2023.
Once corrections portal is closed the total data will be sent for 6 step validation.
This six step validation will takes place from 8th June 2023 to 10th June 2023.
After successful completion of six step validation provisional list will be displayed from 12th June 2023.
Later EKYC should be done for the eligible beneficiaries.
This EKYC process will held form 12th June to 22nd June 2023.
At the same time grievance for ineligible students portal will open from 12th June 2023.
Redressal of grievance / objections will held from 12th June to 22nd June 2023.
Final list of eligible and ineligible list will be displayed from 22nd June 2023.
After hanging of eligible and ineligible list collector approval will be taken from 26th June 2023 to 27th June 2023.
Program will be launched and amount distribution started by our chief minister Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy garu from 28th June 2023.

Eligibility:

No one in the family should be a govt employee.
No one in the family is a tax payee.
Power consumption should be more than 300 units on average of last six months.
No one in the family should have four wheeler (own board).
Land should be less than 3 acres of wet land and should not be more than 10 acres (including wet land).
Total family income should be 10,000 in rural, and 12,000 in urban.
Municipal property should be less than 1000 sqft.
